Upperman High School is located in Baxter, Tennessee.

UHS is accreditated by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS/CASI). In 2007, UHS (and Putnam Co.) was listed by citydata.com among America's top high schools. In 2008, Upperman was listed as one of the United State's best high schools by U.S. News and World Reports. UHS is a member of the Putnam County School system.
